Anticorruption and Accountability in Ukraine: what has changed?
NAKO's Executive Director Olena Tregub gave interview for Östgruppen - Swedish Initiative for Democracy and Human Rights. Tregub spoke on post-2014 reforms in Ukraine. She argued that despite reformative declarations of Ukrainian government, there was a lack of political will for real anticorruption initiatives. Frustration with this inability of Ukrainian government to implement such reforms made the so called "electoral revolution" possible in 2019, which brought an anti-system candidate to win presidential elections.
