On 24 May, 2019, NAKO’s Head of Content Dr. Lada Roslycky partook in the yearly conference ‘Institutionalization of Public Administration in Ukraine in terms of Euro-Integration and Globalization Challanges’. The event was organized by the National Academy for Public Administration under the President of Ukraine.
The participants of the conference discussed the important issues of public administration in terms of euro-integration and globalization challenges and suggested practical recommendations how to improve institutionalization processes in the system of public administration.
NAKO as the independent nongovernmental organization withing Ukraine’s defence sector identifies corruption risks and develops recommendations on how to improve the System. Thus, Dr. Roslycky presented on NAKO’s anti-corruption mandate, real schemes and risks that have been identified in its research and how its advocacy works. Special attention has been paid to the manner in which perceptions of corruption facilitate/block schemes.
Participants included: acting President of the Academy for Public Administration Anatoliy Savkov, Head of National Agency for Public Service Kostyantyn Vaschenko, Deputy Minister of Social Ploicy for European Integration Olexandra Churkina, representatives of Hanns Seidel Foundation, central executive bodies and local government bodies, Ukrainian and foreign experts in the field of public administration.
