Ukroboronprom critically lacks young staff - Mylovanov

Verkhovna Rada has passed a law that will boost the reform of Ukroboronprom. The enterprises that are currently a part of Ukroboronprom will be transformed into joint-stock companies, while the state will be the sole owner of it, Channel 24 reports.

Participants of the Lviv Security Forum spoke about how the state's defence capabilities will change. In 2021 it was held in Odesa and supported by NAKO. One of the problems of Ukroboronprom is the average age of its developers. It is about 60-70 years. According to the chairman of Ukroboronprom’s Supervisory Board, Tymofiy Milovanov, such workers will retire soon, while the generation of 50-year old experts’ is lost in general. Youth works in the private sector or moves abroad. He said that for such people to appear, they must be interested in working with the state.
