Changes in the composition of the commission for controlling the use of Western weapons

On October 6, a member of parliament from the "Holos" faction, Oleksandra Ustinova, headed a temporary special commission to control the use of weapons provided to Ukraine.

Before being elected to the Verkhovna Rada, Ustinova worked as an independent expert and was a member of the board of the NGO "Anti-Corruption Action Center." She is one of the initiators of the creation of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Anti-Corruption Court. As an MP, Ustinova became a Committee on Law enforcement member. Later, she headed the "Holos" faction instead of MP Yaroslav Zhelezniak.

Earlier, this position was held by Rustem Umerov, who created the abovementioned commission. Now he has been appointed head of the State Property Fund.

282 MPs supported resolution #8078 with the minimum required of 226.
