The Office for Support of Changes at the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine presented the concept of public procurement reform to anti-corruption and specialized public organizations. The Office shared the strategic vision of the future procurement agency.

Arsen Zhumadilov, head of the Project team of the Change Support Office, announced this on his Facebook page.

During the meeting, which was attended by NAKO's representative, substantive issues related to anti-corruption and compliance policy, nomenclature, delineation of the roles of the MOU and the Agency, procurement tools, the Agency's financial model, etc., were discussed.

"Purchasing should be carried out on the basis of a non-discriminatory approach to market participants with zero tolerance for corruption. The key expectation for the system being built is clarity in defining roles, structures, and processes, openness to interaction," Arsen Zhumadilov notes.

It will be recalled that the recently created Office for Support of Changes at the Ministry of Defense prepares proposals for draft legal acts on changes to improve defense management processes in the Ministry of Defense system and plans for their implementation. Social and political figure Yulia Marushevska became the head of the Office.
