Ukrzaliznytsia acknowledged NAKO’s contribution to the development of the Anticorruption Program

On March 29, 2024, joint-stock company Ukrzaliznytsia (UZ) presented a new project of the Anti-Corruption Program and organized a public discussion with representatives of public organizations and state institutions.

Ukrzaliynytsia officially expressed its gratitude to NAKO for active participation in developing the Anticorruption Program project. The gratitude was received by NAKO Head of Research and Policy Svitlana Musiiaka.

Musiiaka praised the work of the UZ anti-corruption office and thanked them for considering the recommendations that NAKO submitted in preparing the project for the anti-corruption program.

"Thanks to thorough preparation and the involvement of independent experts in the discussion, Ukrzaliznytsia managed to prepare a high-quality project for the Anti-Corruption Program by the requirements of legislation and best international practices. Now it is necessary to make joint efforts so that a quality document becomes an effective tool", – emphasized the head of NAKO research.

During the discussion of the draft Anti-corruption program, the experts noted the significance and scope of the work done. They expressed their support for the further implementation of this program.

In the discussion of the Anti-corruption program participated representatives of the Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories, the National Agency on the Corruption Prevention, as well as experts from the Basel Institute of Management,  the Ukrainian Network of Integrity and Compliance (UNIC), the Governance Professional Association (CGPA), non-governmental organization "Stop Corruption," Center of Operational and Strategic Analysis and others.
