In the war against Ukraine, the Russian Federation uses radio-electronic warfare, which contains technologies of British companies. This is stated in the new Ukrainian report, which is referred to the Guardian

The report includes eight Russian companies. This is, in particular, a scientific and industrial association, "Strela," a research enterprise, "Protek," and concern, "Radioelectronic technologies." None of these companies are yet under UK sanctions.

The report also names the British companies themselves, the components of which were found in the means of radio-electronic warfare of the Russian Federation. These are “Semelab Ltd” transistors in communications jamming equipment and radio-controlled devices on the battlefield. Power sources from “XP Power” are detected in a mobile short-range radar. The parts manufactured by “Golledge Electronics” were found in the radio direction-finding system.

These firms ensure that they are not involved in production. They said that they had stopped all trade with Russia starting February 2022.

According to NAKO research, Russia constantly finds a way to bypass sanctions and obtain European components, which it uses for the production of weapons.

We have recently talked about the inconsistency of sanctions regarding the Russian Federation, Particularly about the most famous Russian companies, the sanctions against which need to be more consistent. There are more than 600 legal entities and individuals.
