“Discrimination of different social groups in the Armed Forces: views of military personnel and civilians”

As part of the event, the Ukrainian Veterans Fund of the Ministry for Veterans Affairs,  the Independent Anti-Corruption Commission (NAKO), and the sociological group Rating will present the study:

”Discrimination of different social groups in the Armed Forces: views of military personnel and civilians”

We will also discuss complex but important topics:

  • The veteran policy is one of the Government’s priorities. More than 15% of the population of Ukraine will be connected to veteran services after the end of the Russian-Ukrainian war. Is the state ready?
  • Discrimination in the ranks of the Armed Forces. Which categories are most vulnerable, and why is it important to investigate?
  • Respect for veterans is key to productive communication between the state and society.
  • How attitudes toward servicewomen in the Armed Forces and society have changed since 2014. Is ”positive discrimination” a challenge?
     
  • Fighters with wounds: to the rear, battle, or home? Military response.
