NAKO has become one of the founding members of the Defence First coalition, a group of Ukrainian non-governmental organizations, think tanks, and civic initiatives launched on 26 February. Together, coalition members will work to strengthen Ukraine’s defense, support EU and NATO integration, and promote democratic, effective, and accountable governance in the security and defense sector.
The coalition was co-founded by the Better Regulation Delivery Office (BRDO) and the Sahaidachnyi Security Center. Members include Transparency International Ukraine, Boryviter, Dignitas Fund, Aerorozvidka, the Economic Security Council of Ukraine, and others.
“Working together is the key to systemic change in the defense sector. Support, knowledge sharing, and collaboration make us stronger,” said NAKO Executive Director Olena Tregub.
