The U8 Analytical Center has investigated Western chemical product deliveries to Russia

The U8 Ukrainian Analytical Center conducted a study on the supply of Western chemical products to Russia for October 2024 – March 20255.

The objects of this study were: additives for the production fuels and motor oils, copolymers, polymers, solvents and other chemical products.

At the time of delivery, goods worth $43.7 million were prohibited by US sanctions restrictions, and goods worth $45.2 million were prohibited by EU restrictions for deliveries to Russia.

The largest share of goods was made in South Korea, indicating that sanctions restrictions in that country are significantly weaker than in other Democratic Coalition countries.

The report was submitted to the authorities of the Netherlands, Germany, France, Ukraine and some other countries of the Democratic Coalition.
